Rails Girls is back in Sydney with a Free Ruby on Rails Workshop in November.
New to the world of coding with Ruby on Rails? Or dabbling with a vibe to own it? Then you need to know about Rails Girls, a global organisation that offers a community for women to explore coding, Ruby on Rails, and technology in general.
Back by Ruby Au and a passionate community of professional female coders and developers, Rails Girls is thriving in Australia, with regular meetups happening in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Up next for us, is the Rails Girls Sydney Ruby on Rails workshop, a free all-day event taking place on Saturday 4 November.
Along with camaraderie and support, attendants will discover and deepen their knowledge of Ruby on Rails and test driven development with two tracks on offer:
- For beginners: the regular Rails Girls tutorial
- For not so beginners: Rails Girls Next, which will introduce the concept of APIs
