About you
Hi guys, I’m Amelie, I’m French and 37. I’m a scuba diving instructor and also the Co-Owner of French Touch Diving in the Philippines. When I’m not diving I’m in France where I’m a waitress in Paris. I am also passionate about sea, earth protection and sharks. I can teach you how to make baby corals and why we all should love and protect our oceans. When I have time I travel as much as I can, I live to discover new places new cultures, new food and new people! I am also quite influential in France as a travel influencer for Instagram. I wrote blogs and some articles for papers. And I’m also a good cook and wine lover like many French people 🤣🤦♀️😅
Why do you travel and look for adventures?
I love to discover new places to explore, new cultures new food and new dive sites! I love to feel alive, and that’s what adventure is doing to me!
What kind of adventures do you look for when you travel?
Scuba diving, trekking, hiking, horse riding, surfing, kayaking and even cliff jumping!
What’s your go-to travel hack?
I am very bad at planning my travel… sometimes I miss what I wanted to do because of my bad organization so don’t do the same 🤣 Otherwise, feel the vibe, let it go and enjoy!
Got any gear you can’t travel without?
My drone! The perspective is so better with a bird’s eye.
What destination are you eager to go back to?
Mongolia and I’ll be back in June !!
How do you stay safe when you’re travelling?
I try to be not « too much » friendly with male people. I don’t want them to think I am open to anything with them 😅
What’s the best way to experience a destination like a local?
To live like a local! Don’t stay between foreigners! Go to local places eat local food, talk with them!

When and where are you next travelling?
I am in the Philippines until April but it’s for work. After that, I’ll travel to Mongolia in June.
