Why do you travel and look for adventures?
I love to understand the world we are living in. I believe the more we got in contact with people from any kind of path or background, the more compassionate we are growing as a human beings.
What kind of adventures do you look for when you travel?
I’m really a bit of everything traveler. I mostly like authentic kinds of travel. Going to off-the-beaten-path countries that might have some bad publicity in the media and get to know its people. But I’m interested in history and food so I might choose some destinations based on this dimension. Sometimes I just want to relax on the beach as well and just enjoy the time without doing much… Ideally I wish to visit every single country one day
What’s your go-to travel hack?
After taking all the basic precautions needed for a woman, at home or abroad they are quite similar, I would say: follow your intuition! If you don’t feel something do not force it upon you. Even if you don’t understand why, they might be a reason for this feeling to appear.

My power bank and my phone are a bit low on battery.

How do you stay safe when you’re travelling?
I’m being as respectful as possible to the culture in the way I dress. I’m wearing a fake wedding ring. After being very reticent toward it, I learned to lie to protect myself. If strangers ask you personal questions, it is actually inappropriate so doesn’t feel bad to lie to them! Yes, your husband is waiting for you at the place you are heading too 😝
What’s the best way to experience a destination like a local?
Using the platform as Couchsurfing or Host a Sister on Facebook. Of course, you need to check in detail the account and profile of the people you are going to. But once all the necessary precautions are taken, you will learn so much about the country and its culture if you can look at it through the eyes of locals.
